At Masterchef Celebrity, tasting the contestants' dishes!

On Wednesday, October 16, I participated as a jury in Masterchef Celebrity.

Together with chefs such as Javi Estévez, Marcos Morán, Nino Redruello and Rodrigo Garcia, we tasted the poultry dishes that the participants had to prepare in 75 minutes, taking advantage of the pressing technique potential.

You can imagine what a laugh we had with some of the contestants. Anyhow, we had a good time. Gastronomy and cooking must be promoted in different ways, if possible!

Josep Cuní interviews Nandu to talk about the Catalan Gourmet Award of the Year

The Gourmet Cluster of Catalonia will award me with the Catalan Gourmet Award of the Year this coming Wednesday. For this reason, the recently released radio programme called 'Aquí, amb Josep Cuní' of SER Catalunya radio station, they have made use of the opportunity to interview me and talk about gastronomy this Tuesday.

It has been a very good opportunity to talk about the kitchen, the care when dealing with the produce and my experience behind the stove. I highly encourage you to listen to it, which is a short but a passionate interview!

Can Jubany's cannelloni on RAC1's Morro Fi radio programme!

At midday I went to the RAC1 studios to talk about Can Jubany’s cannelloni recipe.
Along with Txaber Allué, the @cocinero fiel with thousands of Instagram followers, we spent
some good time with Joan Lluís Garcia, the broadcaster of the Món a RAC1 programme this summer.

Ultimately, I explained how we make our cannelloni, we discussed other chefs’ cannelloni dishes and also responded to suggestions and questions from listeners who called in.

The programme’s conclusion: we all feel a little lazy when it comes to preparing cannelloni; but how much we like them when ready, don’t we?!

Hago de embajador de la cocina catalana en Singapur

La cocina es una muy una buena manera de mostrar la cultura de nuestro país, por eso me hace especial ilusión asumir la responsabilidad de ser uno de sus embajadores allá donde voy. Recientemente, pude hacerlo con una iniciativa de promoción internacional de Turisme de Barcelona, ​​en el que pude mostrar toda la riqueza de nuestra gastronomía a los agentes turísticos de Singapur, una ciudad que me encanta y donde tengo tres de mis restaurantes ( Foc, Foc Sentosa y Pim Pam Foc).

El primer encuentro se realizó en el Foc Sentosa y al día siguiente cogimos todos el avión hacia Barcelona para que descubrieran la cocina catalana en el restaurante Petit Comitè. Me siento muy contento y orgulloso de mostrar que la cocina siempre ha sido cultura, pero que ahora gracias al trabajo encabezado por los miles de cocineros que cada día ponen en marcha los fogones, como Joan Roca o Ferran Adrià, la hemos convertido en un punto de lanza para mostrar la cultura del país y atraer turismo. ¡Nuestro territorio es magnífico!
